Role purpose

The Admin Specialist (AS)will support the work, efforts and activities of Counsellor. The AS will provide administrative support to Counsellor. and customer service to clients and students including the introduction of our other services. Provide counselling services and information on education choices in assigned destination.

The Admin Specialist (AS) is required to perform tasks in a professional, efficient and timely manner and to foster a cooperative working relationship with all staff and departments.

Key accountabilities

 

Customer service/ Business acumen  

  • Introduce our services to prospective students and visitors

  • Book appointments for students and counsellors

  • Create and maintain records, administrative records and organizing files

  • Undertake follow-up of students by telephone, email and text

  • Purchasing office supplies (water, paper, stationery)

  • Enroll students into various events (seminars, meetings with Universities, etc)

High Quality of Work  

  • Create or check statistics and reports, as required

  • Assist the Office Manager with various duties, tasks and projects

  • Ensure the office is well presented and to assist with various office duties/jobs, as required.

Technical & professional knowledge

  • Gather and organize information from students

  • Submit and track student applications (University, Language, etc)

  • Help organize and participate in various exhibitions and events

  • Input / create / check / analyse / organize various data

  • Manage and maintain the Overseas Study reference library

Good Teamwork

  • Liaise with various staff/departments, as required

  • Train new staff, as required

Requirement

  • An understanding of the crucial importance of quality customer service

  • Ability to administer detailed administrative and application processes

  • Ability to listen, learn and follow instructions

  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team

  • Attention to detail (especially data entry)

  • Good computer literacy
