Role purpose
The IELTS Operations Assistant at Auckland supports the Test Centre to ensure an outstanding service is provided to all customers and that operations are conducted in accordance with IELTS rules and regulations. This requires coordination with other members of the Test Centre team, management of customer enquiries and other pre-test, test day and post-test activities to ensure the Test Centre meets its goals of efficiency, compliance and customer satisfaction.
This is a casual role for our IELTS testing location at Auckland.
Shifts: 3 or 4 shifts a week (mostly on weekdays)
Remuneration: The IELTS Operations Assistant is paid $33.88 per hour.
The successful applicant will be required to successfully complete online training modules produced by IELTS Australia and one induction training at the test centre. Test day shifts are between 4-6.5 hours and dependent on the number of test takers.
Key accountabilities
- Providing high quality services to test takers.
- Overseeing test day activities to ensure processes and test rules and regulations are adhered to.
- Adhering to policies and procedures as required.
- Resolving test taker issues.
- Maintaining the security of test materials.
- Trouble-shooting technical issues (specialized technical equipment, software, hardware, etc.) with confidence.
- Arranging set up (tidying facility to optimize the appearance of the venue) and maintaining facility.
Required experience
