Role purpose
This role is not just about promoting IDP services to network partners within the education industry, we are looking for a high energy, enthusiastic deal maker with an outgoing personality who can apply their skills independently to support revenue growth in Student Placement Services and IELTS.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify, approach, and secure new clients in school sector (private and government) and Referral Partners.
Exclusivity contract with universities for students seeking to study abroad.
IELTS closed session deals.
• Build new and maintain existing strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers (e.g. High Schools, Universities & other networks)
• Prepare and deliver persuasive business proposals, presentations, and pitches to prospective clients (students and education institution) by leverage ‘know how’ from internal collaborators.
• Represent IDP Taiwan at marketing & promotion events and exhibitions.
• Support the delivery of student applications by facilitating an agreed number of applicants to respective SP offices from Referral Partners and maintain a high-quality client experience.
• Liaise with university representative and partners to:
develop agreement with local institutions such as join degree, study abroad.
promote IELTS tests, IELTS-themed seminars and education fair hosted by IDP.
• Clearly communicate the value proposition of IDP services.
• Analyse local market trends in the Student Placement and IELTS arena and propose (where necessary) ideas to ensure IDP Taiwan maintain a strong competitive edges in the market.
• Work closely with other departments and offices to provide input/suggestion with local support needs.
• Any other ad hoc activities.
Requirements
• 5+ years of relevant work experience in an education industry service company as a sales or related role.
• Degree graduate (preferred).
• Demonstrated experience in building business in new as well as mature markets.
• Experience with data-driven decision-making.
• Ability to think strategically and develop comprehensive business development plans.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• High level of self-motivation, energy and accountability; ability to work both independently and as a team in a fast-paced working environment;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; mature and engaging personalities.
• Ability to influence and persuade at all levels.
• Fluent speaking and writing in English and Mandarin
• Proficiency in Internet and PC software, esp. MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
• Willingness to travel extensively.
