Role purpose
The Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of clients by acting as the primary liaison between clients and the delivery teams. The role ensures clients’ marketing objectives are met through strategic planning, campaign oversight, performance analysis, and strong relationship management. The Account Manager leverages digital marketing expertise to translate client needs into actionable strategies that maximise campaign outcomes, drive ROI, and support long-term partnership success.
Key accountabilities
) Client Relationship Management

Act as the main point of contact for client accounts and maintain trusted relationships.

Understand client objectives and ensure delivery teams align with expected outcomes.

Drive client satisfaction through proactive engagement and communication.
2) Strategic Planning & Advisory

Develop customised marketing strategies based on client goals and market insights.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure strategy feasibility and alignment.

Present marketing plans and performance insights to clients, influencing decisions.
3) Campaign Oversight

Work closely with channel specialists (Paid Search, Display, Social, TikTok, etc.) to ensure timely and high-quality campaign execution.

Monitor overall campaign delivery to ensure alignment with KPIs and business outcomes.
4) Performance Analysis & Reporting

Analyse campaign performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Tableau, Power BI, and Looker Studio.

Provide actionable insights to clients and delivery teams to optimise performance.

Track full-funnel metrics and identify growth opportunities.
5) Project Coordination

Manage campaign schedules, delivery timelines, budgets, and outputs.

Coordinate with multiple internal teams to ensure seamless execution.

Maintain documentation and ensure adherence to processes.
Required experience
ducation & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (preferred).
Experience
-
Proven experience in client-facing roles within a digital marketing environment.

Experience overseeing campaigns across multiple performance marketing channels.
-
Exposure to higher-education marketing is an advantage.
Technical Skills

Strong understanding of performance marketing channels.
