Role purpose

This is a key leadership role in country responsible for all aspects of IELTS operations in assigned area.
1. Business Plan- Develop and execute business plans for region
2. Operational plan execution – achieve candidate numbers, market share and revenue targets in line with budgeted goals and within approved expenses.
3. Pre & Post-test management- Effective implementation of all relevant pre & post test procedures including candidate registration, document verification, data entry etc. with zero tolerance for any variance in security related processes
4. Test Day management- Ensure availability of test day staff and that all test day activities are conducted as defined down procedures with zero tolerance for any variance in security related processes

Key accountabilities

  • Develop annual plans for IELTS for the area
  • Effective implementation of all pre-test day & post test procedures including candidate registration, document verification, test day security and protocols, data entry, etc
  • Ensure availability of test day staff and that all test day activities are conducted as defined down procedures
  • Ensure all test candidates receive exemplary customer experience at every contact point before, during and after sitting the IELTS test
  • Ensure all staff involved in testing is culturally sensitive
  • Provide clear, comprehensive advice to general enquirers or ensure that more complex enquires are forwarded to the correct person for a response
  • Build, retain and lead a team of motivated high performers.

Required experience

Graduate or equivalent Diploma/Professional degree
7 years + experience in BD & Operations preferably in Education, Edtech, Assessment and Testing Industry or equivalent
High integrity
Should have strong proven existing Operational skills across key parameters listed above.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively – written & oral
A strong, ethical leader who acts with integrity and in the best interests of the business.
