Role purpose
The Content and Social Lead will oversee the execution and optimization of content and social assets across the Student Essentials product portfolio. This role involves content and social strategy, asset creation, copywriting, and collaboration with various departments to drive customer engagement. Your goal is to create awareness, and confidence, helping students to understand our partners and products, and build trust that IDP will support them with all the essential services they’ll need for studying abroad.
We are seeking a versatile Content and Social Lead to join our team at IDP Education. In this role, you will be a pivotal part of the team responsible for planning and creating engaging, diversified content for our website, social, and marketing assets. You will work closely with the Social and Content Manager to produce and implement high-impact content across the student journey in line with our sales goals and global research, ensuring it is designed to effectively guide and support students to make informed decisions about their product choices
Key accountabilities
- Create Student Essentials content that will help educate our students about our partners and products, building brand awareness, engagement, and trust.
- Content should be created in the form that will help our students understand best. Whether that’s written, video and or visual delivery we want to support our audiences by presenting the information in a way that’s easy for them to digest.
- Expertise in using content creation tools such as Canva, Adobe Suite, video editing software, and other related tools is crucial. Your primary responsibility will be to process written content and transform it into visually appealing, easy-to-grasp content that drives click-throughs and conversions.
- Leverage partner content and assets and adapt it for our global markets using your expertise on engagement and channel performance.
- Utilise and understand our in-depth customer research to help inform your customer insight and content deliverables.
- Define USP’s and value propositions for our products, partners and service offerings.
Required experience
Essential Requirements
- 3-5 years’ experience planning and creating engaging content and social assets that help engage, educate and inform
- Experience in content strategy, building an effective plan to drive awareness and nurture customer journeys with engaging content across digital, physical and social channels.
- A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, media or a related field.
- Proficiency in content creation tools, such as Canva, Adobe Suite, video editing software, and other relevant applications.
- Ability to work through engagement and performance insights to make decisions, then quickly adapt your plan with continuous feedback to deliver value.
- Creativity and the ability to think outside the box to develop engaging content
