Role purpose

As the PX Specialist, you'll be the go-to person for all People Experience (PX) related matters in the Australasia region, ensuring our team members have an exceptional experience throughout their journey at IDP. You’ll provide outstanding support to our leaders and broader team, making their lives easier.

From answering inquiries to organising cultural events, driving wellbeing programs, and contributing to attracting and retaining top talent, you'll play a key role in creating a positive, high-performance environment. Your contributions will help streamline operations, enhance engagement, and support a seamless, inclusive work culture that everyone can thrive in.

This is a Permanent opportunity based out of our Digital Campus, Chennai. You will be working side by side with global teams and senior stakeholders across Australasia. You grow your skills as you create memorable experiences for our people.

 

Talent Acquisition, Experience and Engagement

Experience & Engagement

Respond to Team Member Queries: Be the friendly first point of contact for all PX-related inquiries, addressing questions about policies and operational processes, and providing timely solutions.

Celebrate Milestones: Ensure birthdays, work anniversaries, and other key milestones are celebrated in style.

Communication & Engagement: Support with all cultural and engagement programs (i.e., Cultural celebrations, Town Halls and our Regional Excellence Awards program), contributing to a high-performance, inclusive, and supportive work culture.

Talent Acquisition

Candidate Experience: Be the face of a great candidate experience, managing candidate touchpoints and providing administrative support, including offer letters and documentation, ensuring a seamless process from start to finish.

Assist with Recruitment Processes: Provide support to our TA team in scheduling interviews, coordinating candidate communication, and organising psychometric assessments to ensure a smooth and positive recruitment process.

Onboarding Support: Work with our leaders to facilitate a smooth and welcoming onboarding experience, ensuring all materials are ready and shared with new hires, so they feel right at home from Day 1.

HR Systems and compliance

SuccessFactors (HRIS) Management: Work with our PX shared service team to ensure team records are accurately maintained in SuccessFactors, facilitating smooth HR operations and reporting.

Visa & Contract Expirations: Work with PX Shared Services to track visa and contract expiration dates, ensuring timely follow-ups with team members and leaders.

Policy & Process Guides: Develop and maintain up-to-date process and policy guides to ensure consistency and clarity for our team.

PX Reporting & Compliance: Track team learning opportunities, review PX data, and ensure all compliance-related tasks (like RISE reviews) are completed on time.

Payroll, wellbeing and Admin support

Administrative Support

Additional Duties: Assist with all PX administrative tasks, and other duties as assigned to ensure smooth operations across the business unit.

Support PX Shared Services:  Work closely with our PX Shared Service team to ensure all administration is completed accurately and in a timely manner

 

Wellbeing/ Workplace Health & Safety (WHS)

WHS Support: Maintain our first aid and fire warden lists for each office in the region, support safety training, and ensure compliance with workplace safety standards.

General WHS Support: Assist with WHS follow-ups, minute-taking, WHS reporting and other administrative tasks related to workplace safety.

Ongoing WHS Communication: Ensure the team is informed and trained, and contribute to audits and reports as needed.

 

Payroll

Payroll Support: Closely partner with our payroll team to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee pay, actively resolving any discrepancies or issues as they arise.

Required experience

  • 5+ years of experience in an HR/PX generalist role, with a broad understanding of people operations.
  • Experience working across the APAC region, with cultural sensitivity and adaptability.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to engage with a variety of stakeholders effectively.
  • A genuine love for people and passion for making their work experience the best it can be.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.
  • A strong sense of autonomy, knowing when to take charge and when to escalate for support.
  • Willingness to work early shifts to accommodate the Australasia time and take advantage of flexibility on offer  
  • Intermediate design skills with Canva/Adobe to enhance communication and increase engagement.

 

Desirable requirements

  • Experience working in a global organisation, with the ability to navigate diverse teams and cultures.
  • Familiarity with SuccessFactors or other HRIS platforms, streamlining HR processes and data management.
