Role purpose

The Client Account Manager plays a key role in managing relationships with IDP’s global university partners and supporting their successful onboarding and engagement on IDP’s digital platforms. The role focuses on enabling partner institutions to effectively showcase their course portfolios, ensuring they maximize opportunities from IDP’s digital ecosystem while delivering a seamless client experience.

The position acts as a bridge between university partners and internal teams (product, commercial, counselling, and client success) to ensure smooth collaboration and continuous improvement of services and digital solutions.

Key accountabilities

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain relationships with assigned university partner accounts and act as the primary point of contact.

Onboard partner institutions onto IDP’s digital platforms and assist them in setting up and managing course portfolios.

Conduct product demonstrations, walkthroughs, and review sessions to ensure clients fully utilize the platform capabilities.

Respond promptly to partner queries via email, calls, or virtual meetings and resolve issues efficiently.

Work closely with commercial, client success, product, and counselling teams to deliver a high-quality client experience.

Monitor and follow up with partners to ensure optimal usage of digital tools and conversion opportunities.

Provide feedback to product teams on partner expectations and market needs.

Generate and validate performance and delivery reports for internal commercial teams.

Address client concerns and ensure timely resolution to maintain strong partner relationships.

Required experience

Essential Experience

Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.

Minimum 3+ years of experience in areas such as:

Client Account Management

Customer Success

Education Counselling

Corporate Communications

Key Skills

Strong stakeholder management and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset with attention to detail.

Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.

Proficiency in MS Office tools and digital platforms.

Preferred 

 Experience in international education or student placement services.
