Role purpose
You’ll spend time on the following:
The Data Analyst is responsible for elevating the marketing analytics practice to achieve a data-driven culture data-driven culture by utilizing his/her intensive data mining skills. He/she will work on all marketing channels of IDP - Web, events & others to support digital analytics initiatives to contribute to IDP’s conversion. The resource will be responsible for analyzing all types of data to identify areas of opportunities and delivering actionable recommendations. He/she will have a strong background in web analytics implementation and data analysis and is able to bring data to life through storytelling and data visualization.
Long Description
Here’s what we’re looking for:
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Track and analyse key metrics (traffic, leads, and other metrics) from various sources.
Identify areas for improvement and measure the success of product launches and marketing campaigns through data analysis.
Build compelling reports and visualisations to communicate insights to stakeholders.
Partner with key stakeholders and digital marketing teams to implement and track analytics initiatives across teams; serve as contact for analytics/tracking requests.
Assist in tag management services and user acceptance testing of site tags to maintain integrity across multiple sources of data.
Digital / customer experience:
Leverage data to gain insights into user behavior / experience to drive our user experience, digital & content marketing strategies.
Design and document analytics tracking specifications for various digital channels, including web, mobile apps, etc.
Understanding of different attribution models to choose the most appropriate one for specific needs.
Forecasting and Planning:
Collaborate with Marketing Director and Product Manager to forecast key metrics based on existing data and insights.
Support in creating and maintaining project timelines based on team requirements.
A/B Testing and Experimentation (desired):
Partner with Product and Marketing teams to design and execute A/B tests to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and product features.
Required experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience and education
- At least 5-6 years of experience in digital analytics / E2E data analysis
- Passionate about data and leveraging its power to inform decision-making.
- Hands on experience with data wrangling / munging
- Adept at working independently and as part of a team.
- Eager to learn and continuously develop analytical skillset.
- Hands on experience with Google analytics (GA 3/ GA4) and Google Tag Manager
- Hands on experience with visualization tools viz. Power BI / Tableau
- Intermediate SQL knowledge
- Self-motivated, independent thinker
