Role purpose
As a Senior Procurement Analyst reporting to the Global Head of Corporate and Technology Procurement, you will be an integral part of the centralised procurement team, helping lead IDP’s procurement function to become a strategic and integrated function that delivers efficient and long-term value.
You will:

Deliver business-focused, valuable procurement services.

Ensure procurement services align with overall IDP priorities.

Execute end-to-end procurement activities with guidance from the Procurement Leadership Team.
Key accountabilities

Provide expertise across procurement categories, including strategy development and implementation.

Support creation and execution of procurement strategies and plans aligned with business priorities.

Follow IDP’s procurement framework and suggest improvements.

Report non-compliance to the Senior Manager, Procurement Operations and COE.

Contribute to benefits realisation and contract management framework.

Manage supplier performance and contract issues; escalate as needed.

Identify and propose procurement process improvements.

Perform data analytics and provide procurement insights and forecasts.

Conduct market research/analysis to inform strategies.
Required experience
Essential:
-
3 to 5 years’ experience in finance or procurement roles.
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (commercial or financial analysis desirable).

High-level communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders and present insights.

Sound understanding of procurement processes, policies, and frameworks.

Customer-centric, agile, and proactive approach to delivery.

Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team.

Experience in supplier management and handling contractual issues.

Familiarity with source-to-contract and contract management systems.
Desirable:
-
Undergraduate degree in Commerce, Business, or Law with a focus on Finance or Procurement.
