Role purpose

To provide exceptional customer service to all prospective and registered IELTS candidates by responding to inquiries, guiding them through the IELTS registration and test process, and ensuring a positive experience with IDP Bangladesh. This role serves as a key touchpoint for all test-taker interactions, both in-person and across digital platforms.

Key accountabilities

  • Respond to candidate inquiries via phone, email, social media, and in person in a professional and timely manner.
  • Guide candidates through the IELTS registration process and assist with online portal navigation.
  • Provide accurate information on test dates, formats, fees, payment methods, ID requirements, special accommodations (e.g., for visually impaired candidates), and results.
  • Ensure candidate documents and data are verified and processed according to IDP and IELTS policies.
  • Handle complaints or issues with empathy and escalate when necessary.
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of IELTS policies and customer service standards.
  • Contribute to promotional and outreach activities as required (e.g., education fairs, webinars).
  • Assist in maintaining records and generating routine reports on candidate queries, feedback, and registration trends.

Required experience

  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in Business, English, Communication, or a related field)
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in customer service or education services (IELTS or testing services experience is a plus)
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Bengali (spoken and written)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to handle diverse customer needs
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Familiarity with the IELTS test structure and IDP services is an advantage
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work on weekends and test days, as required
