Role purpose

The Digital Marketing Officer will play a key role in enhancing the visibility and positioning of IDP, IELTS, and ELT through strategic social media management, content creation, and community engagement. This role is responsible for strengthening brand equity, executing marketing campaigns, and fostering meaningful interactions with students, alumni, and influencers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital trends, social media platforms, and audience engagement strategies to drive brand growth and alignment with organizational objectives.

Key responsibilities

Social Media & Content Creation

  • Develop, manage, and execute engaging social media content across platforms, ensuring alignment with brand voice and positioning.
  • Create and optimize reels and short-form videos to drive engagement, showcasing counsellor expertise, success stories, and brand initiatives.

Community Engagement & Reputation Managemen

  • Monitor, respond, and manage review comments on social media and other online platforms to enhance brand perception and student trust.
  • Gather, curate, and showcase alumni testimonials and student reviews to strengthen credibility and provide authentic insights for prospective students.

Influencer & Alumni Relations

  • Identify and engage with influencers, alumni, and brand advocates, collaborating on campaigns that align with IDP’s values and goals.
  • Develop content strategies featuring alumni testimonials, endorsements, and influencer collaborations to amplify brand visibility.

Campaign Management & Performance Tracking

  • ​​​​​​​Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns to enhance student engagement and lead generation.
  • Track and analyze social media and content performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • A Bachelor’s or higher degree in any discipline (or work experience equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of social media trends, content creation, and engagement strategies.
  • Experience in video content production (reels, short-form videos, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and writing skills for audience engagement.
  • Ability to analyze data and optimize content performance.
  • Proactive and solutions-oriented, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Proficient in English and Chinese
  • Interest in overseas education or first-hand study abroad experience will be highly valued.
