Role purpose

The Event Marketing Officer is responsible for planning, executing, and managing a wide range of marketing events — including education fairs, student seminars, and promotional activities — that connect prospective students with overseas higher education opportunities, IELTS, and English language learning. This role plays a key part in achieving marketing KPIs through well-executed event experiences.

Key accountabilities

Event Planning & Execution

  • Plan, coordinate, and deliver education fairs across multiple cities with oversight from Marketing Manager to support recruitment and lead generation goals.
  • Manage end-to-end event logistics, including vendor coordination, materials preparation, and on-site setup and execution.
  • Develop detailed event operation plans to ensure smooth, on-brand delivery and a seamless attendee experience.
  • Set up and manage event registration systems; monitor registration numbers and provide regular updates to internal stakeholders.
  • Plan and coordinate school-based promotional activities aligned with key intake seasons and target audience interests.
  • Create and execute social media posts to boost registration of school-based promotional activities.

Offline Media & Materials Management    

  • Coordinate with suppliers and printing vendors to produce event and marketing materials (e.g., banners, posters, brochures, standees, signage).
  • Manage the distribution and placement of offline promotional materials at key strategic locations such as schools, community centers, and high-traffic areas.
  • Prepare and distribute press releases and event communications to campus channels and student networks to extend event reach and engagement.
  • Ensure brand consistency and visual quality across all physical marketing collateral.
    Maintain and track inventory of event materials and marketing assets.

Vendor & Supplier Coordination    

  • Build and maintain smooth working relationships with venue providers, printing companies, and service contractors.
  • Coordinate with venue providers, printing companies, and service contractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for equipment rental, catering, and other event-related services as required.

Post-Event Evaluation & Reporting

  • Conduct post-event evaluations and prepare comprehensive reports summarizing event outcomes, attendance data, and marketing effectiveness.
  • Compile and archive event materials, vendor contracts, photos, and feedback for future reference and continuous improvement.
  • Identify key learnings and propose actionable recommendations to enhance future event performance.

Required experience

  • Bachelor’s or above degree in Marketing, Event Management, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in event management, preferably within the education, agency, or service industry.
  • Proven experience in managing offline media campaigns and social media promotions.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills; able to collaborate effectively with internal teams, partners, and vendors.
  • Creative, detail-oriented, and proactive in driving high-quality event outcomes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and familiar with design tools such as Canva.
