Role purpose

The Office Manager will further strengthen IDP’s leadership position in student placement by developing and executing business plans to deliver pipeline leads and conversion targets, including building client relations and engagement, contributing to a world class operating environment, and implementing global projects. As a strong business leader and member of the country leadership team, you will nurture a performance driven culture by providing mentoring, coaching and ongoing communication to foster high engagement and excellent business results.

Key accountabilities

  • Drive development and implementation of office-based business plans aligned to country needs and strategic milestones, including improving business performance, providing input to the budget process, business planning and forecasts, establishing best practice frameworks to enhance sales performance, and identifying, developing and implementing sales strategies.
  • Develop a strong counselling team with a sales and service culture, including increasing market knowledge and team capability, developing and implementing lead generation programs, building a culture of innovation, success and achievement, and monitoring results.

Required experience

  • Demonstrated experience managing business activities in a customer facing, target based sales environment within a multinational company, including developing business plans, budgets, and reporting on results.
  • Proven ability to motivate and lead a team to achieve demonstrable outcomes, while acting ethically and with integrity.
  • Experience managing and collaborating with diverse stakeholder groups and interests.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, including fluency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Bachelor’s or equivalent degree.
