Role purpose

The Destination Manager will support the development and execution of destination wise activity calendars to deliver pipeline leads and conversion targets, including showcases with clients, building strong client support through ongoing engagement, and developing a strong sales team. As a member of the office leadership team, you are a student placement expert and will deliver training and development programs to upskill our counsellors in order to achieve sales and performance based targets.

Key accountabilities

  • Drive the development and implementation of destination-based office business plans to achieve sales targets, including contributing to pipeline forecasting, developing and implementing lead generation programs, and identifying, developing and implementing strategies to achieve sales objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a strong sales and service culture, including monitoring and reporting customer satisfaction, ensuring consistent sales, service and client management performance standards and benchmarks, focusing on continuous improvement, and driving and executing global improvement project participation for the office.

Required experience

  • Demonstrated experience in counselling or student placement, preferably within the education sector.
  • Experience developing business plans, budgets, and reporting on progress.
  • Proven ability to motivate and lead a team to achieve demonstrable outcomes, while acting ethically and with integrity.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Bachelor’s or equivalent degree.
