The Head of Performance Marketing will be responsible for managing the delivery of advertising campaigns for our clients and ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our advertising operations. The role will work closely with our global teams to optimise campaigns, maximise ROI, supporting both our clients and our client teams.
Key responsibilities:
Campaign Management and optimisation:
- Oversee the end-to-end management of advertising campaigns.
- Collaborate with client stakeholders to define campaign objectives and KPIs.
- Oversee the optimisation of campaigns, ensuring the team make data-driven decisions and continually improve enhance performance.
- Oversee A/B testing and other strategies to improve delivery.
- Ensure high quality assurance, overseeing checks of creative assets and ad placements.
- Manage the advertising operations budget, optimizing spending and maximizing ROI.
Team Management:
- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members to promote their professional growth and development.
Client Engagement:
- Regularly meet with key clients to report on campaign activity and performance.
- Respond to ad-hoc client request in a timely manner.
- Offer insights and recommendations to help clients make informed decisions.
- Educate clients on advertising principles, trends, and how this relates to the student journey.
Commercial Growth:
- Support the pitch, proposal and client sales process, supporting client partnerships and client success teams on client meetings, as required.
- Approve client proposals, reviewing the statement of work and creating bespoke delivery schedules for clients.
- Propose and the support development of new services, enhancing existing advertising delivery.
- Support other activities, which enable client renewal/retention, client satisfaction and commercial growth of managed marketing services.
AdTech vendor management:
- Alongside AdOps and B2C marketing teams, evaluate and select advertising technology tools and vendors to enhance campaign performance.
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors and technology providers.
Required experience
- Educated to a degree level.
- Proven experience in advertising delivery and/or digital marketing.
- Exceptional team management and leadership skills.
- Strong knowledge of digital advertising platforms, ad tech, and programmatic advertising.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex ideas and findings to stakeholders with marketing expertise and those without marketing expertise.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to data accuracy and quality.
