Role purpose

At IDP Partnerships, data is at the heart of every decision we make. We’re seeking a Senior Data Analyst to lead the development of insights that shape strategy, elevate client solutions, and drive measurable impact across our global business. 

Key accountabilities

In this pivotal role, you’ll: 

  • Own the design, build, and maintenance of Tableau dashboards for both internal teams and client-facing products. 
  • Lead SQL-based data modelling to Tableau and uncover actionable insights. 
  • Collaborate with developers to scope, brief, and sign off pipeline changes, ensuring accuracy and reliability across all reporting assets. 
  • Champion the shift to ELT-first practices, creating reusable views and automated procedures. 
  • Partner with global teams in London, Chennai, and beyond to raise data literacy and reporting standards. 

 

You’ll work closely with Client teams, product owners, Cloud Ops, and development teams, while also engaging with external vendors and data providers such as UCAS, JISC, and IRCC. This is a role for someone who thrives in complex data environments, enjoys autonomy, and is motivated by solving real-world challenges.

Required experience

  • Strong experience in a data analyst role, working with large datasets
  • Advanced SQL for data modelling and reporting
  • Advanced Tableau (or equivalent BI tool) for dashboard development
  • Experience working with cloud-based data platforms
  • Confident briefing and collaborating with data engineers on pipeline changes
