Role purpose
The Marketing Manager - Singapore is accountable for the delivery of student placement and IELTS candidate qualified leads volume for each business in the country. The role is central to the delivery of revenue and profit objectives and will work with the Region/Country leadership team and office managers to develop marketing strategy and tactical campaigns.
The Marketing Manager - Singapore will also lead the in-country marketing team to ensure quality and successful execution of marketing activities.

Key accountabilities
Strategy
- Develop comprehensive annual, quarterly, and monthly marketing plans to support country goals across business lines within agreed timeframes and quality standards
- Design multi-channel marketing campaigns detailing lead sources, numbers, and related activities for campaign execution
- Collaborate with Office Managers to develop and support activity calendars, including in-office activities and outreach initiatives
- Devise appropriate Public Relations strategies in line with business needs
Lead Generation
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to plan and execute lead generation initiatives effectively, meeting required lead numbers by source to maximize sales opportunities
- Identify new lead generation opportunities and recommend investments and projected outcomes to the Country Director
Event Marketing Management
- Plan, schedule, and execute marketing activities to support IDP events, including pre-event marketing and event-related activities
- Prepare marketing and booth designs with support from the Regional Team, ensuring IDP is presented in line with strategic goals and brand positioning
- Support wider event management as required and evaluate event success based on feedback to improve future events
Web Marketing (Led by Regional Web Marketing team)
- Work with the Regional Web Marketing team to maintain and update the local website to inspire students and meet objectives
- Develop and implement SEO/SEM strategies with the Regional Web Marketing team, including content development to drive students to IDP’s website
- Collaborate with Regional Web Marketing team to generate web leads through multiple online platforms (Google, Facebook, etc.)
Contact Centre Management - Lead Qualification
- Set up and manage the Local Contact Centre, working closely with the Regional Contact Centre team
- Support the Contact Centre team to qualify web leads according to defined targets
- Monitor and optimize Contact Centre performance, providing performance reporting and monitoring
Analytics and Reporting
- Utilize analytics to evaluate marketing campaign effectiveness and track the number of qualified leads generated versus targets
- Proactively escalate issues and propose ideas to improve lead numbers and quality
Team Leadership
- Lead and develop a high-performing team to deliver IDP’s key marketing objectives from a corporate unit perspective
- Foster an environment of collaboration and cooperation across regional marketing teams
- Set performance targets for key performance indicators, ensuring clear delegations
Financial Management
- Provide innovative and creative marketing solutions to achieve KPIs within the agreed budget
- Manage budget and resource allocations effectively to deliver business priorities
- Exercise appropriate stewardship over IDP assets and intellectual property, ensuring expenditure aligns with the agreed budget and business priorities
Required experience
Essential Requirements:

Educated to degree level or equivalent

Demonstrable experience in delivering high quality marketing solutions with positive, measurable results

Working knowledge of online marketing platforms and experience leading digital marketing campaigns
