Role purpose
We invite applications for the role of Senior Change Analyst – a pivotal position within IDP’s transformational journey. This role requires a proactive, analytical, and collaborative professional to orchestrate effective change management across a broad spectrum of projects within our organisation.
As Senior Change Analyst, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our people, processes, and technological initiatives evolve seamlessly and effectively. Your responsibilities will include in-depth change impact analyses, co-creation of comprehensive organisational change plans, and the development of communication strategies that align diverse stakeholders with transformation goals.
This full-time fixed-term appointment, based in Melbourne for a period of 18 months, will see you collaborate closely with teams throughout Transformation, People Experience (PX), Portfolio Leadership, and the Enterprise Delivery Office. Your expertise in building strong business engagement and change-readiness initiatives will be crucial to driving meaningful adoption and reinforcing the value that effective change management brings to IDP.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with diverse stakeholders across Transformation, People Experience, Portfolio Leads, and the Enterprise Delivery Office to align change initiatives with strategic objectives.
- Conduct thorough change impact assessments, identifying risks and opportunities and contributing to the formulation of detailed, actionable change plans aimed at facilitating smooth organisational transitions.
- Design and update enterprise-wide change heatmaps, providing visual and data-driven insights that support leadership in prioritising and making informed decisions on change activities.
- Create clear, engaging, and purpose-driven communications and stakeholder engagement materials that explain the nature and benefits of change, fostering understanding and buy-in across the organisation.
- Support the execution of readiness and adoption plans including coordinating training needs analyses, facilitating the development of change artefacts, and organising relevant readiness activities to empower employees.
- Measure and demonstrate the impact and value of the change management function by delivering meaningful reports and insights that build credibility and trust among business leaders.
What you bring
- Proven experience in delivering cross-functional change analysis and developing effective organisational change management plans that drive successful transformation outcomes.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement capabilities, with the ability to communicate complex change information clearly and build strong working relationships across multiple teams and levels.
- Highly skilled in translating diverse change impacts into well-structured and accessible reporting formats, including the development and utilisation of enterprise-wide change heatmaps.
- Demonstrated curiosity and critical thinking skills, with an aptitude for problem-solving and adaptability when navigating complex, fast-paced environments.
- Prior experience supporting large-scale enterprise transformation, systems implementation projects, communication teams, or project management offices is highly desirable.
