Role purpose
The Channel Marketing Manager is pivotal in growing awareness and driving the success of IDP’s Language Testing products. This role focuses on generating leads, nurturing customer interest, and driving conversions across the entire customer lifecycle. Collaborating closely with sales and product teams, the position ensures the delivery of high-quality, impactful marketing initiatives that meet revenue and profit objectives.
Spanning all IDP English Language Assessment products, this role is ideal for a candidate with a broad marketing skill set and experience in both B2B and B2C environments. Familiarity with the education sector is highly valued, along with expertise in owned and paid media. Success in this role requires a dynamic individual who thrives in a fast-paced, startup-style environment, demonstrating adaptability, creativity, and a hands-on approach to achieving results.
This will be a Fixed Term role for 12 months.
Key accountabilities
• Brand Leadership: Drive brand awareness, ensure consistent messaging, and provide brand training.
• Campaign & Content: Manage campaigns, content calendars, events, and agency partnerships.
• Product Marketing: Launch materials, build sales tools, and deliver training.
• Strategy: Develop growth strategies and align with company goals.
• Digital Operations: Oversee marketing automation, website content, SEO, and analytics.
• Partnerships: Build relationships, support client needs, and promote partnerships.
• Financials: Manage budgets and ensure effective resource allocation.
• Team Contribution: Support a positive work environment and fulfill additional duties as needed.
Required experience
Essential Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent or at least 7 years of brand marketing experience in a similar role.
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills with clarity and conviction.
• Experience in end-to-end advertising creation (print and online).
• Ability to communicate complex offerings in plain English.
• Proven experience working with agencies and vendors.
• Success in working with culturally and geographically diverse teams (minimum of three cultures).
• Experience with both brand marketing strategies and performance tactics.
Desirable Requirements
• B2B marketing experience.
• Knowledge of the International English Testing Market.
• Understanding of international education.
• Hands on understanding of marketing automation tools and website CMS
• Event Management experience
