Lead communications for a global transformation

We're seeking a senior Communications and Engagement Lead to play a critical role in one of IDP's largest global transformation programs.

Reporting to the Business Readiness Lead, you will translate complex transformation activity into compelling communications, meaningful engagement and clear calls to action that help employees adopt new technologies, processes and ways of working.

This is a highly visible role that combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You'll partner with senior leaders, change specialists and business stakeholders to shape the transformation narrative, deliver communications and build engagement across a global workforce.

What you'll be doing:

Develop and execute communications and engagement plans aligned to the transformation strategy.
Build compelling narratives that translate complex business and technology change into clear and relevant messaging.
Create executive communications, presentations, FAQs, manager toolkits and engagement materials.
Support leaders and managers to become effective communicators throughout the transformation journey.
Deliver town halls, briefings, listening sessions and other engagement activities.
Partner with change, learning and readiness teams to drive awareness, understanding and adoption.
Measure communication effectiveness and use insights to refine engagement approaches.

About you:

You are an experienced communications professional who has successfully delivered communications and engagement initiatives within large-scale business transformation programs.

You'll bring:

Senior communications and engagement experience in complex transformation environments.
Exceptional writing and executive communication skills.
Experience supporting technology, ERP, operating model or shared services transformation.
Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing capability.
Experience designing two-way engagement approaches that build trust and surface concerns early.
The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.

You don't need to be a specialist, but we are looking for someone who is familiar with Copilot and open to adopting AI-enabled ways of working to drive efficiency and impact.
