Role purpose

This role is responsible for IDP Group revenue, and accounts receivable management, including data integrity, reporting, billing and team management and is a key leader in the Finance Leadership Team.

This role is responsible for all of IDP groups invoicing activities including but not limited to Student Placement,  IELTS Third Party Test Centres, Digital Marketing, Events and Student Essentials.

This is a Full time Permanent role based out of our Melbourne office.

Required experience

• Membership of appropriate professional Accountancy Body e.g. ICA or CPA
• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, or a related field is required. An advanced degree, such as an MBA is preferred
• 10+ years accounting experience with 5+ yrs in a management role
• Extensive knowledge of and experience in computerised financial management systems together with sound knowledge of and experience in all facets of accounting and financial management
• Strong understanding of IFRS and Statutory Reporting requirements
• Expert in data analysis - ability to analyse large amounts of data and draw insights to inform pricing strategies and revenue management decisions.
• Strategic thinking: The ability to think critically and develop innovative solutions to complex problems to maximize revenue.
• Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate a team effectively, as well as lead cross-functional teams in order to achieve revenue management goals.
• Previous experience in foreign currency accounting
• High level of integrity
• Passion for Process and attention to detail
• Ability to communicate professionally at all levels within the organization and with external parties
• Demonstrated ability to develop and retain a diversified team

• Sound appreciation of the capacities and potential applications of financial systems reporting technologies
• Experience integrating off shore based acquisitions
