In this pivotal role, you will be embedded within our Transformation Program and report directly to the Director of People Experience Business Partnering. Collaborating closely with our Transformation team, People Experience colleagues, and key stakeholders, you will lead efforts to integrate the human element seamlessly into our transformation initiatives.
Your primary responsibility is to ensure that all people-related aspects of change are executed with precision, empathy, and alignment to our organisational values and frameworks. This role demands a proactive, hands-on professional with proven expertise in managing complex people transitions within multifaceted environments, who thrives on delivering tangible results with autonomy and confidence.
This fixed-term position, based in Melbourne, offers a compelling opportunity to shape the future of our people practices over the next 12 months.
What you'll be doing
- Translate strategic operating model decisions into concrete, actionable people outcomes such as organisational structures, reporting lines, role descriptions, and workforce transitions that support seamless transformation.
- Lead and support organisational design activities by interpreting their ramifications on people capabilities, workflows, and team dynamics, ensuring comprehensive alignment with the transformation objectives.
- Conduct thorough change impact assessments to evaluate readiness levels across teams and leadership, driving targeted interventions to facilitate smooth transitions.
- Develop and deliver tailored communication and change management materials designed to empower leaders and their teams to navigate complexities and embrace new ways of working.
- Coordinate across multiple transformation workstreams to maintain cohesion, managing interdependencies and ensuring the organisational impact is managed holistically.
- Maintain rigorous adherence to governance processes and People Experience standards throughout all stages of implementation, safeguarding compliance and quality assurance.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and change champion, providing expert guidance to stakeholders as they adapt to significant shifts and challenges within the organisation.
- Monitor feedback and continuously refine people-focused transformation initiatives to optimise effectiveness and employee engagement, resulting in sustained positive outcomes.
- Facilitate workshops and collaborative sessions to build alignment, foster innovation, and encourage proactive adoption of transformation strategies among diverse teams.
About You
We are seeking a seasoned People Experience (PX) or Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) professional with strong understanding of transformation-driven human capital management and brings the following qualifications and attributes:
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in HRBP or People Experience generalist roles, demonstrating a broad and deep skill set that supports complex organisational needs.
- At least 3 to 4 years of direct involvement in transformation programs, encompassing operating model redesigns, restructuring initiatives, or technology-enabled change projects, showcasing an ability to thrive in dynamic, evolving contexts.
- Comfortable operating within a fast-paced, global matrixed environment, demonstrating confidence and initiative when working autonomously and making decisions.
- Strong expertise in organisational design, role architecture, workforce transition planning, and comprehensive change management, enabling you to translate strategy into action effectively.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills paired with clear, sound judgment and a steadfast people-first approach, fostering trust and collaboration throughout change processes.
- An aptitude for simplifying complexity, navigating ambiguity, and providing leadership with practical solutions to guide their teams confidently through uncertainty.

- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion principles, ensuring that transformation efforts enhance an equitable and inclusive workplace culture.
