Role purpose
We are seeking a Senior Manager, Marketing and Insights (APAC) to lead strategic, integrated marketing communications for our region. This senior role plays a critical part in positioning, and growing IDP and IELTS broad range of services through B2B marketing, stakeholder communications, and strategic partnerships.
In this role, you will oversee marketing strategies for core pillars within the Partnerships Team: B2B product positioning and sales enablement, events, and stakeholder relations and insights to advance the region’s commercial, engagement and influencing objectives across IDP and IELTS audiences.
As part of the APAC Partnership’s team, you will also work closely with global strategic marketing groups for IELTS and IDP brands to inform and implement thought-leadership and external engagement at a regional level.
You will provide marcomms strategy and support for regional partnership events including the Australian International Education Conference (AIEC).
This is a permanent full-time opportunity. We prefer Melbourne or Sydney based candidates but may consider talent based anywhere in Australia.
Key Responsibilities

Integrated Marketing & Communications Strategy: Design and deliver integrated communications tailored to diverse audiences across multiple channels. Includes leading the region’s event marcomms strategy (including AIEC), regional adaption of product marketing for APAC partners and target audiences, and supporting regional B2B sales of IDP services through impactful marketing, client communication, and product positioning

Financial & Resource Management: Manage marketing budgets effectively, ensuring optimal outcomes.

Thought Leadership & External Relations: Support regional government and stakeholder relations with thought-leadership communications strategy.

Stakeholder & Partner Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver a program of integrated communications and collateral that best fits a variety of audiences through multiple channels and formats.
Who we are looking for
Proven Experience: Minimum of 10 years of B2B marketing experience, ideally in the higher education or international education sector.
Strategic Leadership: Ability to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns.
Strong Communication Skills: Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
B2B Product Marketing: Experience in creating end-to-end advertising and leading effective product marketing to target audiences including building persuasive sales tools such as slide decks, competitive positioning, FAQs.
Financial & Budget Management: Ability to manage marketing budgets efficiently.
Cross-Cultural Collaboration: Experience working with geographically diverse teams.
Stakeholder Management: Ability to build and manage relationships with senior stakeholders.
Education Sector Knowledge: Knowledge of the international education sector, networks and policies.
Adaptability & Innovation: Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, global environment.
