Role purpose

IDP is working on a transformative initiative aimed at delivering a high-impact, low-cost solution to global learners. We’re seeking a Senior Project Manager with strong leadership, stakeholder influence, and cross-cultural experience to drive this market-facing product rollout.

This is a unique opportunity to lead a high-visibility project that spans continents, integrates newly acquired companies, and delivers a product that touches every part of our business.

What you'll be responsible for

  • Leading end-to-end delivery of a consumer-facing product, from concept to launch
  • Managing multi-stream projects across global time zones (Australia, Europe)
  • Driving governance, budgeting, resource planning, and benefits realization
  • Influencing senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment
  • Collaborating with internal and external teams, including newly acquired entities
  • Producing high-quality documentation and reporting for executive visibility
  • Aligning delivery with internal SaaS infrastructure and external market needs

What you'll bring

  • 10+ years of experience in software product/project delivery
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills – calm, respectful, and confident
  • Proven ability to lead across cultures and geographies
  • Experience working with acquired companies and navigating integration challenges
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
  • Availability for regular early evening calls (3–7 PM AU time)
  • Project Management certification (PMP, Prince2, or equivalent) preferred

Bonus Skills:

  • Background in software product manufacturing
  • Exposure to broad business functions – finance, marketing, product, operations
  • Familiarity with innovation and product testing
