Shape the future of security at a global organisation

At IDP, we're looking for a security professional who thrives on variety, enjoys solving complex problems, and can connect the dots across multiple security domains.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in strengthening and evolving our cyber security capabilities while supporting a global technology environment undergoing continuous transformation.

Why this role?

This isn't a siloed security position.

You'll work across platform engineering, vulnerability management, security tooling, investigations, governance, cloud technologies, and operational security. One day you may be evaluating a new security platform, the next driving remediation strategies, conducting forensic investigations, or helping teams implement secure-by-design practices.

Melbourne (preferred) | Flexible Australia Location

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead the evaluation, implementation, and ongoing management of security technologies.
  • Drive security tooling initiatives from vendor selection through proof-of-concept, procurement, deployment, and operationalisation.
  • Own and mature vulnerability management capabilities across the organisation.
  • Review and optimise configurations of existing security platforms.
  • Recommend and implement security standards, controls, and policy improvements.
  • Support digital forensic investigations and incident response activities.
  • Partner with technology and business leaders to manage risk and secure critical platforms.
  • Contribute to security strategy, engineering standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What We Are Looking For

  • 8-10 years' experience across security engineering, operations, or cyber security.
  • Experience implementing and administering enterprise security platforms.
  • Strong vulnerability management and remediation experience.
  • Exposure to security investigations, incident response, or digital forensics.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • A curious mindset and willingness to learn across multiple security disciplines.
  • Experience working in both structured corporate environments and fast-moving teams is highly regarded.

Why IDP?

You'll join a collaborative team where innovation is encouraged, learning never stops, and security professionals have the opportunity to make a visible impact on the organisation's future.

Build. Improve. Investigate. Secure.
