Role purpose
The People Experience Manager (Cambodia) is responsible for driving all people related matters and driving day-to-day implementation of People Experience (PX) initiatives and policies in both operational and strategic levels to achieve high performance and high engagement organisation. The role will be working closely with the Country Director (CD), Regional PX Director (RPXD), Country Leadership Team (CLT), and the PX teams in both Regional and Global offices, to develop and deliver a number of work programs and campaigns aiming to provide our people with the best employment experience across all three business units: Student Placement, IELTS and English Language Teaching, and support functions.
Key accountabilities

Partner closely with the Country Director, Regional PX Director, and Country Leadership Team to develop and deliver people strategies that support business growth, organisational effectiveness, and an exceptional employee experience.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders on workforce planning, talent management, organisational design, employee relations, performance management, succession planning, and change initiatives.
- Lead the end-to-end employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, development, engagement, performance management, career progression, and offboarding.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing culture through employee engagement, recognition, wellbeing, communication, and employee experience initiatives.
- Lead talent acquisition activities to attract, hire, and retain high-quality talent across the business.
- Lead compensation and benefits activities, including annual review processes, benefits administration, market benchmarking, and reward programmes in alignment with company guidelines.
- Drive learning and development initiatives that strengthen leadership capability, employee performance, and organisational readiness.
- Oversee HR operations and people systems, ensuring effective HRIS administration, accurate employee records, payroll inputs, reporting, and data integrity while continuously improving processes and employee self-service experiences.
- Ensure compliance with Cambodia labour legislation, statutory requirements, company policies, governance standards, and visa/work permit processes.
- Leverage people data and insights to identify trends, recommend solutions, and support informed business and talent decisions.
- Partner with regional and global stakeholders to implement people programmes, share best practices, and ensure local alignment with broader organisational priorities.
- Champion continuous improvement by enhancing processes, systems, and ways of working that improve operational efficiency and employee satisfaction.
Required experience
- 7-10 years of progressive Human Resources experience, including at least 5 years leading a country HR/PX function or serving in a senior HR leadership role.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience within a multinational and matrix organisation, with the ability to collaborate effectively across local, regional, and global teams.
- Strong knowledge of Cambodia labour legislation and HR best practices.
- Demonstrated experience across key HR disciplines, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, compensation and benefits, and HR operations.
- Experience managing HR systems (HRIS), people data, reporting, and process improvement initiatives.
- Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, coach, and build trusted relationships at all levels.
- Sound analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage people insights to support business decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in both Khmer and English.
- Highly organised, adaptable, and capable of balancing strategic priorities with operational execution in a fast-paced environment.
