Role purpose
The Senior Marketing Manager will lead on demand generation and content delivery activities of IDP Education Canada to support delivery against the core business objectives of revenue growth and client satisfaction. The position is a fixed-term maternity cover contract for 12-months.
Reporting to and working closely with the AVP of External Relations, Canada, they will play an important role in the success of the commercial strategy across all product lines. The Senior Marketing Manager will support the development and lead on execution of demand generation activities covering IDP’s core products and services:
- Digital Marketing
- International student placement services
- Intelligence & Analytics Services
They will work closely with IDP teams requiring proactive and effective communication with our global marketing and communications teams, as well as supporting the client teams in Canada to deliver on tactical campaigns.
Key accountabilities
- Develop strategies and campaigns to build IDP’s position as thought leaders in the Canadian international education market.
- Develop and deliver B2B demand generation initiatives to drive new leads, nurture existing database of leads and expand/retain business with current customers.
- Manage Hubspot marketing activity and communicate performance metrics and optimization plans to internal stakeholders.
- Build integrated marketing programs using a mix of tools such as email, webinars, customer engagement, case studies, tradeshows/events, social media, website and more to drive high-impact, multi-touch campaigns covering IDP products.
- Create, manage, and monitor the flow of leads from marketing through to the Client Partnerships team.
- Create content including collateral, presentations, sales decks and marketing materials for sales and marketing activities on an ongoing basis.
Required experience
Essential Requirements
- Experience in B2B Marketing and communications in a commercial environment
- Experience delivering and managing content-led inbound marketing campaigns
- Ability to work with autonomy and in small teams, often collaborating with remote colleagues both in the region and globally
- Effective relationship building skills, respected internally, by clients and key stakeholders
- Strong communication skills across all methods
- Highly effective planning and organizing, managing multiple competing priorities, retaining superb attention to detail
- Strong IT skills
- Willingness to travel within the region several times throughout the year
Desirable Requirements
- Experience working within or as a partner to Higher Education institutions
- Experience with Hubspot or similar inbound marketing software
