Role purpose
The Social Media Specialist role is responsible for the ongoing management and growth of IDP’s Turkey social media presence in alignment with business strategies and direction.
Key accountabilities
Social Media Management
Develops content across owned social channels including blog posts, tweets, status updates, pins, photos and videos.
Creates, manages and grows business presence across social media channels, including, but not limited to blogs, Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram and Tiktok.
Leverages measurement tools to provide progress reports and insights, while continually finding ways to improve on those metrics through testing and new initiatives.
Alert marketing management to any major negative conversations about IDP brand and services and collaborate with team to develop measures to protect and enhance IDP image online.
Key accountabilies
Competition Monitoring
Monitor competitive activity on social media and audience interactions.
Suggest and develop online activities to counter competitive activities.
Knowledge Development
Continuously update own knowledge of social media best practices and latest trends and share learnings with relevant team members to enhance IDP marketing effort
Required experience
Knowledge of Digital Marketing current best practices and understanding of Digital production processes
Experience with social media platforms, including, but not limited to Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, YouTube, Google+, LinkedIn, Tiktok.
Knowledge of social media and analytics software (Sprinklr, Raven Tools, Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, etc.).
Knowledge social media paid advertising campaigns including Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter.
Strong understanding of user-generated content management, content marketing and reputation management.
Knowledge of design programs (Canva, Illustrator, Photoshop etc.)
Strategic content creation and excellent writing skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Knowledge of English language is a must.
3 years’ experience or equivalent exposure to a corporate environment
