Role purpose

We’re looking for an experienced SEO Specialist to elevate our online presence and help students and test takers across Canada discover how IDP can support their journey. You’ll lead our SEO strategy across traditional SERPs and emerging platforms like ChatGPT, driving qualified traffic, improving rankings, and contributing to lead generation and revenue growth.

Key accountabilities

What You’ll Do

Own and execute the SEO strategy for Canada
Conduct keyword research and optimize content in collaboration with the content team
Partner with the web and paid media teams to maximize performance across channels
Lead technical SEO efforts, audits, and schema implementation
Build off-page strategies including link building and digital PR
Track, analyse, and report SEO performance using top industry tools
Monitor competitors and implement global best practices through collaboration with IDP’s international network

Required experience

What You Bring

3–5 years of experience as an SEO lead within a marketing team
Expertise in on-page, off-page, and technical SEO
Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills
A proactive, self-starter mindset with a passion for continuous learning and collaboration
